Job summary

Aurora Energy Research, based in Amsterdam, is seeking an Advisory (Senior) Associate in Origination focusing on PPAs, BESS and energy contracting. You will support renewables developers, investors and asset owners in route-to-market strategies, tender processes and PPA negotiations across Europe.

A strong emphasis on BESS and storage structures complements your commercial judgement and analytical skills. You will lead analyses, prepare client-ready materials, and collaborate with advisory,

Qualifications

At least 4 years' experience in the electricity sector with renewables, storage, utilities, IPPs or investors.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret market data and provide clear recommendations.
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management abilities.
Written and spoken fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Evaluate route-to-market and offtake strategies for standalone and hybrid assets.
Lead client discussions and support PPA, FPA, tolling and hybrid contracts.
Assess market revenues, risk, balance and bankability implications.
Deliver rigorous commercial analysis and client-ready recommendations.
Prepare proposals, pitches, and transaction-support materials.
Contribute to Aurora's origination toolkit and market intelligence.
