Job summary

Royal FloraHolland zoekt een enthousiaste logistiek medewerker voor ochtendwerk in Naaldwijk. Je begint om 06:00, verzamelt orders en rijdt met een elektrische vrachtwagen naar verzendlocaties, zodat de orders voor verzending klaarstaan.

Je werkt samen met een team van circa 150 collega's. Het werktijdenpatroon is parttime ochtenddienst met 3,8 uur per dag, 7–15 uur per week, tegen een bruto uurloon van €16,04.

Qualifications

• Je bent lichamelijk fit en kunt bukken tillen vanuit buckets met bloemen of planten.
• Je kunt om 06:00 bij ons logistiek centrum Naaldwijk zijn.
• Je bent minimaal 1,65 m lang.
• Je bent beschikbaar op minstens 2 ochtenden doordeweeks, inclusief maandag.
• Je bent minimaal 7 maanden beschikbaar.
• Je bent minimaal 16 jaar oud.
• Je spreekt Engels of Nederlands op conversational niveau of hoger.
• Je woont in Nederland en hebt de benodigde documenten om hier te werken.
• Je kunt een VOG overleggen (kosten vergoed).

Responsibilities

• Je werkt 's ochtends vroeg en vult een lege kar met orders.
• Je volgt de aanwijzingen op de receipts om de juiste bloemen/planten te verzamelen.
• Met de elektrische vrachtwagen rijd je naar de aangegeven locatie.
• Je zet de bestelde bloemen/planten op de kar en maakt deze gereed voor verzending.
• Andere lichte taken zoals het voorbereiden van lege vrachtwagens of het afvoeren van volle.

Jouw uitdaging

After our auctions kicks off at 06:00 a.m., you will make sure that all orders can be transported all over the world by noon. In order to do so, you'll operate a small, electric truck and prepare orders throughout our warehouse. Of course, you will not need to do this all by yourself: You will work together with a fun and diverse team of around 150 co-workers! Your work includes the following tasks:

• Your shift starts at 06:00 a.m., after which you pick up an empty cart. This cart needs to be filled with one of our customers’ orders;

• The receipts on the cart will show you where to pick up the ordered flowers or plants;

• Using your small, electric truck (no license required), you drive to the specified location;

• You move the ordered flowers or plants onto your cart. Once full, this cart is ready for further shipment;

• Various other tasks (such as preparing empty carts or taking away full ones).

Jouw profiel

Preparing and lifting orders is physical activity: This position offers a unique morning workout! We start when the auction kicks off at 06:00 a.m. to make sure we can meet our commitments to our buyers. No logistic experience yet? No worries, we will show you exactly how to perform your tasks. We ask the following from you:

• You’re physically fit and have no trouble lifting buckets with flowers or potted plants;

• You’re able to reach our logistic center in Naaldwijk by 06:00 a.m.;

• You’re at least 1,65m (5’5”ft) tall, so you can reach even the top shelves;

• You're available on at least 2 weekday mornings, including a Monday;

• You're available to work for at least 7 months;

• You’re at least 16 years old;

• You speak English or Dutch at conversational level or higher;

• You live in the Netherlands and have the necessary documentation that allows you to work here;

• You’re able to deliver a VOG (certificate of conduct), we will compensate the costs.

Ons aanbod

• A flexible, part-time job in the mornings: the afternoon is yours!;

• A fun morning job on up to 4 weekday mornings (Thursdays currently unavailable);

• A flexible, on-call contract or a contract with fixed number of hours per week (7-15 hours);

• A hourly wage of €16,04 bruto;

• A working day of 3,8 hours on average (4 workdays average 15 hours per week);

• Travel compensation of €0,23 as well as a vacation bonus;

• A plant to take home 5 times a year.
