Job summary

Floraholland zoekt een logistiek medewerker voor ochtenddiensten in Aalsmeer. Je start om 06:00 uur, pakt een volle kar en verdeelt deze naar de juiste orders in het magazijn. Je bestuurt een elektrische wagen en zorgt dat de orders voor noon wereldwijd verzonden worden.

Geen ervaring vereist; training wordt geboden. Vereisten: fysieke fitheid, 18+, 1,65 m+, minimaal twee ochtenden beschikbaar en minimaal 7 maanden inzet. VOG vereist, NL woonachtig, talen: Engels/Nederlands.

Qualifications

• Fysieke fit en geen problemen met tillen van bloei-uien en -trossen.
• Op tijd aanwezig zijn op de logistieke locatie in Aalsmeer om 06:00 te starten.
• Minimaal 18 jaar oud en minstens 1,65 m lang.
• Beschikbaar op minstens twee ochtenden doordeweeks.
• Bereid om ten minste 7 maanden te werken.
• Bezit een geldig NL verblijf- en arbeidsvergunning (indien nodig).
• VOG kan worden getekend; de kosten worden vergoed.

Responsibilities

• Vroeg beginnen om 06:00 en volle kratten verdelen naar orders.
• Elektrische kar besturen zonder rijbewijsconvenant; de weg naar de locatie wijzen via headset.
• Bestelde bloemen naar het juiste leverpunt brengen in het magazijn.
• Klantenwagens klaarmaken en zorgen voor tijdige verzending.
• Overige taken zoals het beheren van klantwagens en het ophalen van volle wagens.

Jouw uitdaging

After the flower auctions kicks off at 06:00 a.m., you will make sure that all orders can be transported all over the world by noon. In order to do so, you'll operate a small, electric truck and prepare orders throughout our warehouse. Of course, you will not need to do this all by yourself: You will work together with a fun and diverse team of around 250 co-workers! Your work includes the following tasks:

• Your shift starts at 06:00, after which you pick up a full cart. This cart needs to be distributed to our customers’ orders;

• Your headset will tell you where to deliver the ordered flowers;

• Using your electric truck (no license required), you drive to the specified location in our warehouse;

• You lift the ordered flower(s) onto the customer’s cart. Once full, this cart is ready for further shipment;

• Various other tasks (such as managing customer carts or taking away full ones).

Preparing and lifting orders is physical activity: This position offers a unique morning workout! We start when the auction kicks off at 06:00 a.m. to make sure we can meet our commitments to our buyers. No logistic experience yet? No worries, we will show you exactly how to perform your tasks. We ask the following from you:

• You’re physically fit and have no trouble lifting buckets of flowers;

• You’re able to reach our logistic center in Aalsmeer by 06:00 a.m.;

• You’re at least 1,65m (5’5”ft) tall, so you can reach even the top shelves;

• You're available on at least 2 weekday mornings;

• You're available to work at least 7 months;

• You’re at least 18 years old;

• You speak English or Dutch at conversational level or higher;

• You live in the Netherlands and have the necessary documentation that allows you to work here;

• You’re able to deliver a VOG (certificate of conduct), we will compensate the costs.

Ons aanbod

• A flexible, part-time job on weekday mornings: the afternoon is yours!;

• A flexible, on-call contract or a contract with fixed number of hours per week (7-23 hours);

• An hourly wage of €16,60 bruto;

• A working day of 4,6 hours on average (5 workdays average 23 hours per week);
