Job summary

Lokaal Werkt zoekt een Warehouse Employee voor ons cross-dock magazijn in Nijmegen. Je werkt dagelijks met EPT om trailers te lossen en orders te verstuwen. Je bewaakt voedselveiligheid, voert schoonmaaktaken uit en werkt in een koude omgeving van ongeveer 4 graden Celsius.

Werktijden beginnen om 13:30, met werk op zaterdag en toeslagen bij weekend- en overwerk. Initiatief en zelfstandigheid zijn vereist, Engels spreken is gewenst. Interesse? Neem contact op met Bram.

Qualifications

• Ervaring met het bedienen van een elektrische palletwagen (EPT).
• Goede beheersing van Engels is handig.
• Lange termijn inzet en nauwkeurig kunnen werken vereisten.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van trailers met een EPT en goederen in cross-dock opzet rangeren.
• Verzamel en vul orders aan, resticker en her-routing waar nodig.
• Tijdens elke dienst werken bij voedselveiligheid en 4°C omgeving; schoonmaak regels naleven.
• Samenwerken met team; pauzes plannen bij drukte en weekends werken.

Functieomschrijving

Your work starts at 13:30, which is when you are ready in your work clothes at the warehouse. The first shipments arrive, and you begin unloading trailers with your Electric Pallet Truck (EPT). Of course, you refill the trailers with orders that are ready. During unloading, some orders may need to be restickered, restacked, or rerouted to a different route. This is because you work at a cross-dock facility. This means that goods are not present for more than 24 hours. Since only food items are distributed, you also regularly perform cleaning tasks. This is crucial for food safety. The team operates independently, and breaks are taken when it's quiet. You understand that if five trailers arrive at once, it's not convenient to take a break. You coordinate with the team to do this before or after. Your workday ends between 20:00 and 22:00. Work is scheduled every Saturday, starting at 08:00.

You’ll be working in an environment of 4 degrees Celsius, and of course, you’ll be provided with proper clothing to keep you warm.

Functie-eisen

The salary ranges from €2.700 to €3.200 per month. If you work on Saturdays, you earn 150% of your regular rate, and if you work overtime, you receive a 130% premium.
