Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a temporary Order Picker to join our Amsterdam, NY team. The role focuses on accurate order picking, quality checks, stock verification, and safe handling of materials for fast-paced fulfillment.

You will work 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of picking customer orders

Your Shift

1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $16.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
