Job summary

Mammoet is seeking an experienced crawler crane operator to join our global crew. You will work on landmark projects worldwide, operating the world’s largest cranes and collaborating with supervisors and riggers on challenging lifts.

You will travel with global cranes, support mobilization activities, and communicate in English with colleagues from diverse nationalities. A strong safety mindset and ambition to grow are essential.

Qualifications

• Global mindset and willingness to work worldwide.

• Current valid crane driver's license (TCVT or ECOL).
• Experience operating crawler cranes or large mobile cranes.
• Experience on models like CC2800, CC3800, CC6800, CC8800, LR1750, LR11350 or similar.
• Solid heavy lifting experience with motivation to develop to Mammoet's largest cranes.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.
• Responsible and customer-focused.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and mobilize Mammoet's cranes on global projects.
• Hold a core role in lifting complicated loads (reactors, modules, foundations).
• Collaborate with supervisors and riggers to execute lifts safely.
• Assist in mobilization/de-mobilization of cranes in diverse projects.
• Travel worldwide on challenging, international assignments.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members of various nationalities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an operator in Mammoet's global crew, you form a core part of the team responsible for executing all activities associated with lifting complicated loads. Sitting in the cabin, with the controls at your fingertips, you will pick and set the world’s biggest and heaviest equipment – anything from large reactors, to topside modules, to offshore jacket foundations. As an operator in the global crew you need a hands‑on mentality and will work closely together with the supervisors and riggers and be able to assist in the mobilization and de‑mobilization of the biggest cranes of Mammoet.

You will be traveling along with our global cranes all around the world and will carry out this job on challenging, often international projects. You will do this in a team with colleagues of various nationalities. English doesn't need to be your first language, but the ability to communicate in english verbally and in writing will be important.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Global mindset - when not on leave, you will probably be somewhere in the world on a project
• Current valid passport
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Current valid crane drivers licence (TCVT or ECOL)

  • Experience operating crawler cranes or large mobile cranes.

  • Experience on cranes such as CC2800, CC3800, CC6800, CC8800, LR1750, LR11350 or similar equipment is highly preferred.

  • Candidates with solid heavy lifting experience who are motivated to develop towards Mammoet's largest cranes are encouraged to apply.
