Work Style: Rotating Shifts - 06:00-14:30 / 14:30-23:00

Role Objective

Safely operate within an industrial gas-cylinder filling and production environment. Fill, inspect, handle, and move gas cylinders accurately while complying with all operating and safety procedures. Support safe, reliable production through careful order processing, teamwork, and consistent shift attendance. Note: This is an industrial production/operator role involving gas cylinders; it is not a warehouse position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate safely within the gas-cylinder filling and handling process.
• Fill and check cylinders in accordance with approved instructions and quality requirements.
• Load, unload, and move cylinders safely throughout the production area.
• Process orders accurately and ensure the correct cylinders are prepared for onward movement.
• Follow all site HSE rules, operating procedures, and manual-handling requirements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe production work area.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across both rotating shifts.

Tasks

• Complete visual and procedural checks before, during, and after cylinder filling.
• Handle cylinders and associated production equipment safely and carefully.
• Identify and report damaged cylinders, process deviations, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.
• Complete production and order records accurately.
• Support routine production activities and automated processes where trained and authorised.
• Gas cylinders filled, checked, and moved safely and correctly.
• Accurate production and order-processing records.
• Consistent compliance with site safety and operating procedures.
• Reliable handover between morning and afternoon shifts.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

• Stop work and report any unsafe condition, damaged cylinder, or process deviation.
• Take personal responsibility for following instructions, safety rules, and approved operating methods.
• Escalate quality, equipment, or production issues to the relevant supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or industrial operating environment is required; logistics or order-picking experience alone is not sufficient.
• Candidates must clearly understand that this is not a warehouse role.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing active work, including the regular movement of gas cylinders.
• Professional level of Dutch language.
• Accurate, responsible, and able to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Available for rotating shifts: 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00.
• Experience with gas cylinders or automated production processes is advantageous.
• A valid forklift certificate is advantageous.
