You work independently on our CNC lathes from Mikroturn Hembrug, Mori Seiki, and Emco, with Fanuc and Siemens controls. You set up your work yourself, program it yourself in TopSolid 7 or at the control, and measure it yourself. From start to finish, it's your work.You turn compact, ultra-precise products from mostly round starting material, often no larger than what fits in the palm of your hand, with precision up to about 1 micron. No mass production, but one-offs and small series in high-quality and exotic materials such as titanium, molybdenum, niobium, platinum, stainless steel, and Stavax. It's the combination of tight tolerances and varying materials that makes it truly craftsmanship.You work in a compact team of about four machinists on your own production floor, in two shifts. The lines are short, and the atmosphere is direct and down-to-earth. Together with engineering and preparation, you make new products feasible and look for the best way to machine them.What you don't know yet, you'll learn here on the shop floor from your closest colleagues, at a pace that suits your experience.
