Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive performance of two DP2 Fallpipe vessels in an active offshore environment.
You will combine day‑to‑day operations with structural improvements, bridging commercial and execution teams to deliver on client commitments. Lead the operations team, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
In support of CSL OWL SRI B.V., OWL is currently seeking a:
Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. (OWL) is an ambitious and growing company. Dedicated to serve the renewable offshore energy sector, we specialize in hands‑on marine services. In close collaboration with the company Canada Steamship Lines (the CSL‑Group), OWL has set‑up the joint venture company CSL OWL SRI B.V.
Last year this JV company has ordered two impressive subsea rock installation vessels with which the JV is now evolving into a leading independent marine services provider, offering comprehensive subsea rock installation services.
Do you want to build and improve an operation rather than simply maintain what already exists? In this role as Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on how projects are executed, from adding structure to improving performance across multiple vessels.
You will work closely with commercial, technical, and operational teams, ensuring that everything that is sold is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will also be given the space to further develop this role and grow into a position with broader operational responsibility.
As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of two DP2 Fallpipe Vessels. You combine involvement in day‑to‑day operations with continuously improving and structuring the organization.
You maintain oversight across multiple projects and vessels simultaneously, ensuring performance is not only stable but continuously improving. You focus not just on daily operations, but also on identifying patterns: where time is lost, where improvements can be made, and how to structurally optimise performance.
Your responsibilities include:
You also play a key role in bridging the gap between commercial agreements and operational execution. You contribute during the tender phase and are confident in challenging feasibility to ensure that what is sold can actually be delivered.
Internally, you lead the operational team, including superintendents, ensuring clear structure, defined responsibilities, and strong collaboration. At the same time, you drive the further professionalisation of the organisation by improving and standardising processes and ways of working.
Safety, quality, and compliance are central to everything you do. You have the mandate to make decisions and intervene where necessary.
We are looking for someone who understands operations and is ready for the next step. You may have experience as a Works Manager, Senior Project Manager, or in a similar role, and are comfortable overseeing projects and teams.
You can easily switch between detail and helicopter view, knowing when to dive in and when to step back. You are decisive, communicatively strong, and not afraid to challenge, including towards commercial stakeholders when needed.
We are looking for someone who:
You don’t need to have done everything already, but you do have the drive and capability to take ownership of this role and make it your own.
You will step into a role with significant responsibility and influence. You will work in a dynamic offshore environment and have a direct impact on how the organisation operates and evolves.
You can expect:
Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. is a leading player in the offshore sector, specialising in DP2 offshore vessels and rock installation projects worldwide. Innovation, safety, and technical excellence are at the core of the organisation.
As Operations Manager, you are the driving force behind operational performance and the further professionalisation of the organisation. You work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders and are given the space to fully apply your expertise in offshore operations, project execution, and performance management.
You are not only responsible for keeping the operation running, but also for structurally improving it, creating focus, and building a future‑proof way of working.
