Job summary

Marex is seeking an Operations professional in Amsterdam to design and build automated tooling, workflows, and dashboards that power our trading operations. You will work closely with traders, risk, data scientists, and engineers to improve processes and reduce manual effort.

In this role you will own end-to-end operational processes across cash equities, derivatives, and structured products, monitor activity during market hours, and contribute to data quality and resilience within Marex’s

Qualifications

• 1-6 years in an operations, trading support, middle office, or data-driven role within financial markets.
• Experience supporting equities, listed and OTC derivatives, and/or structured products.
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trading, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to resolve issues and enhance operational workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain tools, dashboards, and automated controls that support operational processes and decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes, driving implementation with engineering teams.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of operational processes, ensuring scalability, controls, and reliable day‑to‑day performance.
• Manage end‑to‑end trade lifecycle processes across cash equities, listed and OTC derivatives, and structured products.
• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash, and investigate exceptions.
