Job summary

Studocu is seeking a motivated Operations Agent (EdTech) to join our small, international team in Amsterdam. You will help improve the quality of student-submitted materials and support related operations across content moderation, taxonomy, and data curation.

Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates with a degree, comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel, and able to work at least 20 hours weekly, including some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Minimum 20 hours per week (fixed contract).
• EU citizenship or valid work permit; live in/around Amsterdam.
• Student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Methodical, organized, focused, and hardworking; able to perform under pressure.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel.
• Fluency in another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the quality of user-submitted study materials through review, assessment, curation, content moderation, and academic taxonomy curation.
• Collaborate with Customer Support to ensure clear communication with users and maximize satisfaction; may cover support tasks as needed.
• Maintain an up-to-date, organized database of courses and institutions.
• Support strategic teams on ad-hoc projects, including research on educational systems across countries.

We are looking for a fantastic student worker for the Operations Agent (EdTech) - Student Worker role to join a team of our 5 Operations Agents who are hard at work making sure our content is top-notch. For us “the content is king” and thus we built a fool-proof operations practice behind checking hundreds of reported documents and gathering data about the institutions and courses we would like to add to our portfolio.

If you are a student or recently graduated living in The Randstad and looking to work at least 20 hours a week (with some hours during the weekend) hop on board our multinational company that likes to learn and have fun together!

What you’ll be doing here

• Enhance the quality of user-submitted study materials globally, encompassing review, assessment, curation, content moderation, academic taxonomy curation, and supporting legal operations related to content.
• Collaborate with Customer Support to facilitate clear communication with users, helping to maximize customer satisfaction and prevent misunderstandings. Depending on team needs, you may also occasionally help cover Customer Support tasks.
• Maintain an up-to-date, organized, and well-structured database of courses and institutions.
• Provide support to the company’s strategic teams on various ad-hoc projects, such as conducting research on educational systems across different countries.

Requirements

• You are fluent in English, speaking and writing.
• You can work a minimum of 20 hours per week (fixed contract), including some hours during the weekend.
• You are available to start as soon as possible, with EU citizenship or a valid work permit, and you live in or around Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, or Utrecht.
• You are a student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• You are methodical, organized, focused, and hardworking, with an ability to perform well under pressure.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You are tech-savvy and are very at ease working with Google Sheets or Excel.
• You don’t get discouraged easily. You’re able to perform repetitive tasks diligently and with consistent motivation.
• Being fluent in one other European language is a plus.
