Job summary

Awl-Techniek B.V. is looking for an Operational Planner to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will coordinate people, capacity and priorities to ensure projects stay on track across our Dutch and international sites.

During onboarding you will learn our processes and the new ERP system, becoming a key planning contact. You’ll spot bottlenecks, adjust schedules and support service teams to respond quickly to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Processing project plans and capacity requests in systems such as AWL-planner, MS Project, Navision, Dynamics and Power BI.
• In consultation with team leaders, develop project plans and forecasts to schedule staff and temporary staff within budgets and priorities.
• Coordinate planning and available capacity with internal departments and overseas branches.
• Manage the central mailbox and handle requests in a structured manner.
• Ensure service teams are fully staffed and respond quickly when clients or projects need extra support.

Job description

As an Operational Planner, you7ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations. Youll ensure projects keep running by cleverly coordinating people, capacity and priorities. No two days are the same: one day youll be adjusting schedules, the next youll be resolving a bottleneck together with production, engineering, team leaders or our branches in China, Mexico, the US and the Czech Republic.

Youll be given plenty of freedom and responsibility to maintain an overview and look ahead. During your induction period, youll get to know our processes first-hand and play an active role in the implementation and testing of our new ERP system. This will enable you to build up your knowledge quickly and become a key point of contact for planning within the new system.

Your planning brings calm to the hustle and bustle. You spot where things are going wrong, think ahead and ensure colleagues know where they stand.
