Job summary

NTS Group in Hengelo is searching for an Operational Buyer/Outsourcing Specialist to secure timely procurement and outsourced manufacturing parts, ensuring materials arrive in the right place and quantity at the right time.

You will liaise with Planning and suppliers to confirm orders, delivery times, and prices, while handling complaints and invoice discrepancies with internal teams. On-site role in a technical production environment.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational education (mbo-4) or higher in logistics, procurement, or business administration.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Experience in a technical/production environment is a strong advantage.
• Proactive with ability to daily prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Place, check and monitor daily purchase orders for procurement and outsourced manufacturing parts.
• Monitor delivery times and take proactive action in case of delays with Planning.
• Maintain intensive contact with national and international suppliers for order confirmations and prices.
• Handle administrative tasks related to complaints, shortages, invoices, and quality issues with stakeholders.
• Optimize inventory levels with Logistics to prevent production stoppages and set daily priorities.

Then join us as an **Operational Buyer/Outsourcing Specialist** at NTS Hengelo and let's make it possible together!### **Job Description**As an Operational Buyer & Outsourcing Specialist within our Supply Chain team, you are the indispensable link between our (international) suppliers and the internal departments. You are responsible for both the procurement and the manufacturing parts that are outsourced externally. Your goal? Ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time, in the right quantity, and under the right conditions, so that our production never stops.You are strong in organization, analytical, and communicative. In this role, you place, check, and monitor daily purchase orders. You closely monitor delivery times and take immediate action in case of potential delays. You quickly liaise with the Planning department and maintain intensive contact with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery times, and prices.Within the team, you have plenty of room for initiative. You handle administrative matters related to complaints, shortages, and invoice discrepancies correctly and address quality issues immediately in collaboration with your colleagues.
