Job summary

NTS Group in Hengelo is seeking an Operational Buyer/Outsourcing Specialist to bridge suppliers and internal teams and ensure materials arrive on time for uninterrupted production.

You will place and monitor daily purchase orders, liaise with Planning and suppliers, and handle admin related to price discrepancies and shortages, while optimizing inventory with Logistics. A technical production background helps you excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Completed mbo-4 or higher professional education (hbo) in logistics/procurement/business administration.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Experience in a technical or production environment is an advantage.

You are responsible for both the procurement and the manufacturing parts that are outsourced externally. Your goal? Ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time, in the right quantity, and under the right conditions, so that our production never stops.You are strong in organization, analytical, and communicative. In this role, you place, check, and monitor daily purchase orders. You closely monitor delivery times and take immediate action in case of potential delays. You quickly liaise with the Planning department and maintain intensive contact with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery times, and prices.Within the team, you have plenty of room for initiative. You handle administrative matters related to complaints, shortages, and invoice discrepancies correctly and address quality issues immediately in collaboration with your colleagues.
