Job summary

Fenci B.V. is seeking a Design Lead to steer the design of complex infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. You will lead a team of engineers and coordinate with clients including public works authorities and municipalities.

Responsibilities include engineering of mechanical and electrical installations, ventilation for tunnels, climate control and pumping systems, while guiding multiple projects and driving innovation and efficiency within the implementation team.

As a Design Lead, you play a crucial role in large infrastructure projects. Consider impressive projects such as the Rhineland Route, the Haringvliet Bridge and the groundbreaking Rottemer Tunnel, which is the first energy-neutral tunnel in the world to be built by the innovative contractor combination De Groene Boog. With us, you will work on multidisciplinary installation engineering projects that are always challenging and dynamic.

You will lead the design team and 5-10 Lead Engineers. You are a liaison not only with clients such as the Department of Public Works, provinces and municipalities, but also with specialists within the field. As Design Lead, you will be responsible for the engineering of complex mechanical and electrical installations in infrastructure, including ventilation systems in tunnels, climate control systems and pumping systems.

You lead multiple projects simultaneously, the majority of which are among the most complex and extensive assignments. You embrace challenges such as:
