The role involves frequent travel to host nation sites (80+ days/year), collaboration with headquarters and stakeholders, and delivery of security training and publications aligned with alliance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required.
• Experience in programme governance models or equivalent national governance.
• Experience with sensitive infrastructure projects in secure environments.
• At least 3 of the last 10 years in stakeholder management and coordination.
• Willingness to travel extensively beyond the usual commitments.

Responsibilities

• Work with headquarters staff, agencies, stakeholders and end users to develop security plans and monitor their implementation across the project groups.
• Ensure plans are understood and complied with by all parties involved.
• Travel frequently to host nation sites to coordinate communications and infrastructure progress, over 80 travel days per year.
• Support the programme director on site with stakeholder engagement and communication at political, operational and tactical levels.
• Help identify requirements, policy developments and engineering publication reviews relevant to the programme.
• Collaborate with security, policy and operations to keep the programme aligned with alliance practice.
• Review and update security policy, documentation and classification guides, and author the relevant sections of capability programme plans.
• Assist in managing classified material.
• Develop and deliver presentations and training on security procedures.
• Keep every work strand linked to the rest of the office and other capability teams.
