Job summary

TRUMPF Nederland in Veldhoven seeks a Mechanical Install Engineer level 1 to support the mechanical build of Drive Laser systems on-site at ASML. You will work in a cleanroom environment, assembling components and following strict protocols under supervision.

The role includes extensive training, both at our headquarters in Germany and on the job, with a clear path to advance to Mechanical Engineer level 2 as you gain technical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• MBO education in Mechatronics or a similar technical field.
• Strong service mindset with a customer focus.
• Willingness to travel abroad up to once per quarter.
• Flexible, proactive attitude and teamwork.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble/disassemble components in a cleanroom environment.
• Perform sequential hands-on tasks following established protocols.
• Verify availability of materials and order tools when needed.
• Connect water, gas, air and electrical interfaces.
• Perform alignment and leveling measurements; test circuits for leaks.
• Document issues and provide daily system progress updates.
• Suggest improvements to installation processes to boost quality and efficiency.
• Support progression toward Mechanical Engineer level 2.
