Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Amsterdam is seeking an Events & Facilities MAC Technician to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of meeting rooms, event spaces, and related tasks. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, you will be proactive, service-minded, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle event setups, MAC moves, mail logistics, and general operational support while coordinating with catering, AV, cleaning, and other teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a facilities, events operations, or workplace services environment preferred.
• Physically capable of moving and handling light furniture and equipment (with appropriate training).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CAFM or facilities helpdesk systems is an advantage.
• Basic IT literacy; comfortable using email, scheduling tools, and task management systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms and event spaces in line with booking requirements and client standards.
• Arrange furniture, AV equipment, and room configurations according to event briefs.
• Conduct pre- and post-event room inspections to ensure spaces are clean, presentable, and fully operational.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for the Events and Operations team during event setups.
• Liaise with catering, AV, and cleaning teams to coordinate smooth event delivery.
• Execute planned and ad-hoc desk moves, office relocations, and workplace reconfigurations.
• Transport and position small furniture items safely and efficiently.
• Support staff moves and onboarding by preparing workstations and ensuring equipment is in place.
