Job summary

Vestas NCE Offshore Service is seeking a Service Technician based in Den Helder. You will work offshore on wind turbines, performing inspections, replacements, and troubleshooting while maintaining CMMS records.

The role requires safety focus, technical aptitude, and the ability to operate in a team across multiple locations. We offer a rotation of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, base in Den Helder, with travel for training during the first 24 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or relevant experience.
• Technical education in Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics.
• AT/CT accreditation under WTSR would be advantageous.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams; SAP experience is a plus.
• Full Dutch / European Driving License - Having personal transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring service targets are met.
• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.
• Perform periodic service inspections with component replacement (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate document trails through CMMS.
• Registration of time & Materials to Work Orders.
• Monitor Turbines and pro-actively prepare for the required maintenance.
