Job summary

Deltares invites graduates to join as a Junior Geotechnical Engineer in Offshore Energy in Delft. You will tackle offshore geotechnical challenges, contribute to energy transition and collaborate with engineers across Deltares' multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop experimental, numerical and analytical solutions, document results, and build networks to identify offshore opportunities. Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is not required but advantageous.

Qualifications

• MSc in civil engineering or strong BSc with geotechnical focus.
• Strong technical background to guide day-to-day activities and write geotechnical reports.
• Experience with numerical models, data analysis and experimental facilities is a plus.
• Good communication in English; Dutch is not required but appreciated.
• Interest in offshore knowledge and applying it to infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and carry out applied research and consultancy in offshore geotechnical domain.
• Contribute to experimental work, modelling, data analysis and reporting.
• Support multidisciplinary projects within and outside Deltares.
• Disseminate knowledge via publications and conferences; build networks.
