Job summary

Bilfinger Offshore is seeking an E&I Technician Offshore to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems on North Sea production platforms. You will work in a 2–3 week offshore rotation, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires MBO level 4 in Electrical/Industrial Automation, 3+ years offshore/oil & gas experience, and certifications such as NEN 3140 VP, STIPEL, CompEx Ex01-04, IECEx CoPC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years offshore, oil & gas, energy or petrochemical experience.
• Experience with electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and calibration activities.
• Able to operate safely in hazardous areas and follow procedures.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system faults.
• Inspecting, testing and calibrating field instruments and electrical systems.
• Carrying out inspections on hazardous area equipment per ATEX rules.
• Providing clear handovers to incoming shifts and coordinating with offshore teams.
