Job description

Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. (OWL) is an ambitious and growing company. Dedicated to serve the renewable offshore energy sector, we specialize in hands‑on marine services. In close collaboration with the company Canada Steamship Lines (the CSL-Group), OWL has set‑up the joint venture company CSL OWL SRI B.V.
Last year this JV company has ordered two impressive subsea rock installation vessels with which the JV is now evolving into a leading independent marine services provider, offering comprehensive subsea rock installation services.
Lead offshore operations. Build something new.

At CSL OWL SRI B.V. (COS B.V.), we’re building the future of Subsea Rock Installation.

With two state‑of‑the‑art DP2 Fallpipe Vessels currently under construction, we’re creating an organisation built on safety, quality, innovation and operational excellence. Our ambition is clear: deliver world‑class offshore installation projects with a highly skilled team that takes ownership, works collaboratively and continuously strives to improve.

To strengthen our offshore operations, we’re looking for an experienced Offshore Construction Manager.

Are you an offshore leader who thrives in complex operational environments? Do you know how to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, maintain oversight under pressure and ensure safe and efficient project execution? Then we’d love to hear from you.

What will you do?

As Offshore Construction Manager, you are responsible for the successful execution of offshore installation projects on board our vessels.

You lead the offshore operation from start to finish, ensuring all disciplines work together efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational performance. You act as the central point of coordination between the vessel, the onshore organisation and our clients.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and supporting the offshore installation team while coordinating daily project execution on board.
  • Ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality offshore operations by monitoring project progress, planning and operational performance.
  • Coordinating the collaboration between Bridge, Survey, Engineering and Deck Operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Acting as the primary operational contact for the client during offshore campaigns.
  • Managing mobilisations and demobilisations of personnel and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with company SHEQ standards, industry regulations and client requirements.
  • Reporting project progress, operational performance and risks to the Manager Operations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by evaluating completed projects and implementing lessons learned.
What do you bring?

You are an experienced offshore professional with strong leadership skills and a hands‑on mentality. You remain calm under pressure, make well‑founded decisions and know how to motivate multidisciplinary teams to perform at their best.

You combine technical expertise with operational insight and enjoy improving both people and processes.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore construction, subsea or maritime projects.
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience within offshore operations or project execution.
  • Experience managing offshore installation projects, DP operations and multidisciplinary offshore teams.
  • Experience with Subsea Rock Installation, Fallpipe Operations, offshore wind or similar offshore construction activities is considered a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of project management, contract execution and operational risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work in an offshore rotation schedule.
What do we offer you?

Joining COS means becoming part of a growing offshore organisation from the very beginning. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our way of working, contribute to innovative offshore projects and make a real impact within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

We offer:

  • A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience.
  • The opportunity to work on two brand‑new DP2 Fallpipe Vessels.
  • Plenty of room for initiative, ownership and professional development.
  • A close‑knit team of experienced offshore professionals.
  • Challenging international projects within the offshore energy and marine infrastructure sectors.
More about us

COS B.V. is a compact and entrepreneurial organisation within the maritime industry, consisting of approximately 25 office employees and 100 maritime crew members.

At present, the company’s focus is on the construction of two vessels that will be deployed for offshore rock installation activities.

We work closely together with a ship management company, meaning you will operate in an environment with multiple stakeholders and shared responsibilities. This is exactly where you will make the difference, by bringing structure, maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality, and ensuring all elements work together effectively.

Our culture is pragmatic, direct, and hands‑on, with short communication lines and plenty of room for initiative. You will move quickly, have direct influence on decision‑making, and immediately see the impact of your work.
