PG Global is seeking an experienced Chief Electronic Technician (CET) to join an offshore Heavy Lift Crane Vessel for an upcoming project. You will oversee maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic, instrumentation, automation and control systems onboard the vessel, ensuring reliability of critical equipment.

Qualificações

• Experience as Chief Electronic Technician or senior equivalent onboard offshore vessels.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and automation.
• Experience with crane control systems and heavy lifting equipment is highly desirable.
• DP system experience would be advantageous.
• Valid offshore safety certificates and medical certification as required.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair electronic, instrumentation, automation and control systems aboard the vessel.
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on vessel electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot crane control systems, PLCs, VFDs, sensors and electronic equipment.
• Support DP systems and associated sensors and interfaces where applicable.
• Diagnose faults in power management, alarms and integrated automation systems.
• Keep navigation, communication and monitoring gear in service.
• Record inspections and maintenance actions in the planned maintenance system.
• Assist testing, commissioning, modifications and upgrades.
• Ensure critical electronic components and spare parts are available.
• Comply with HSE, permit to work, and maritime regulations; participate in safety drills.
