Job summary

DEME Offshore is seeking a Cable Installation Engineer to support tender and project teams with installation engineering activities for offshore cable projects. You will prepare installation assessments, perform Orcaflex analyses, and help define installation methodologies during both the preparation and execution phases.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross‑functional teams, coach junior staff, and contribute to reports, specifications and tool development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in the offshore industry, preferably wind.
• Experience performing cable installation analyses in Orcaflex.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineers and tender/project teams.
• Coach junior engineers and organize engineering tasks.
• Prepare installation engineering assessments and analyses.
• Develop internal tools and guidelines; manage standards and norms administration.
• Monitor project progress and report on installations.
