Job summary

Dawn Aerospace is seeking a practical, organized Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations in our Delft office, helping maintain a welcoming, well-organised workplace for our team.

You will work closely with the Office Manager to handle administrative tasks, facilities coordination, and inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and the office runs smoothly. This is a part-time, office-based role with a fixed-term 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in office administration, workplace coordination, hospitality, facilities, events or a similar operational support role.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• An initiative-taking, hands-on approach with the confidence to solve problems and work independently.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems and workplace tools.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Job description

At Dawn Aerospace, we are building reusable space transportation systems and satellite propulsion technology that are changing how space is accessed.

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a practical, organised and proactive Office assistant to help keep our Delft office running smoothly and create a welcoming, well‑organised workplace for our team.

Working closely with and reporting to our Office Manager, you will provide hands‑on support with the day‑to‑day running of the office. From helping maintain a tidy and organised workspace to keeping supplies stocked, assisting with facilities and supporting the needs of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the office runs efficiently. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, takes initiative and is happy to pitch in wherever needed.

This is a part‑time position (20 hours per week). The successful candidate will be based in our Delft office each weekday morning, with typical working hours starting at 8:30am. Finish times will vary depending on business needs and workload, generally falling between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Due to the nature of the role, this position is fully office‑based, and remote working is not available.
