New10, a fintech scale-up backed by ABN AMRO Bank, seeks a Non-Financial Risk Specialist II to strengthen governance, advisory and oversight across risk processes. You will own risk awareness, identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including ABN AMRO to safeguard risk controls.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of non-financial risk domains and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in Operational Risk Management or Risk & Control frameworks.
• Proven ability to perform risk analyses and translate findings into improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Proactive mindset with confidence to challenge decisions.
• English and Dutch communication skills.
• Data-driven approach and process improvement focus.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking.
• Familiarity with risk taxonomies and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analyses, deep-dives, and investigations to identify vulnerabilities.
• Advise stakeholders on risk mitigation and control design.
• Contribute to development and improvement of the risk framework.
• Drive risk awareness and challenge risk ownership across the organization.
• Monitor control effectiveness and follow up on findings.
• Translate risk insights into actionable recommendations.
• Support risk and control cycle, including automation and optimization.
• Engage with stakeholders (incl. ABN AMRO) on risk topics.
• Improve vendor management capabilities.
