Job summary

Ahold Delhaize invites you to join the Not-for-Resale (NFR) sourcing internship in Zaandam within the Procurement Excellence & Sustainability team. You will support European procurement of indirect goods and drive sustainable sourcing and insights.

The internship runs 5–6 months starting February 2027, 32–40 hours per week, partly at HQ in Zaandam and partly from home. It offers real responsibility and intern perks, including networking with peers.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ambitious with willingness to take on responsibility.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Follow market developments in sub-categories relevant to indirect goods.
• Support category teams with effective sourcing strategies.
• Build compelling stories and engage with stakeholders.
• Create actionable insights from market intelligence.
• Support sustainability initiatives within Supply Chain.
• Assist design and implementation of new developments.
