TNO is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain and improve our extensive network infrastructure across multiple sites in the Netherlands. You will ensure availability, performance, and security while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.

As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of TNO's network infrastructure. You will work with enterprise-grade networking technologies and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the network services used throughout the organisation. Because TNO conducts extensive technology research for the Dutch Ministry of Defence and other strategic partners, the secure availability of our networks is critical not only for TNO, but also for society. You will therefore contribute directly to a resilient and secure digital infrastructure.
As a Network Engineer, you will become part of TNO's Infrastructure Team. This team is responsible for the organisation's data centres, storage environments, network infrastructure, Linux and Windows server platforms, and the foundational configuration of client systems. #LI-Hybrid In addition, the team manages IaaS and PaaS cloud services and their integration with on-premises environments. The team primarily operates from TNO's New Babylon office in The Hague and also supports locations across the central and southern regions of the Netherlands. Hybrid working is standard practice within the team.

The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks. As you will be working for clients in the domain of defence and security, a Certificate of No Objection issued by AIVD (the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
