Job summary

CDH Professionals in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Network Services & Automation Engineer to join a hands-on, operations-focused team ensuring performance and reliability of network connectivity and data center services in a large-scale, multi-tenant environment.

You will own the management of LAN/WAN, support automation initiatives, and drive continuous service improvements through scripting and IaC, collaborating with architects and coaching teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience.
• CCNP Enterprise and/or DevNet Associate certified.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, firewalling, and network security.
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Ansible, NetConf, YANG, JSON, APIs).
• Dutch - must be professional level or higher.

Job description

As a Senior Network Services & Automation Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the performance and reliability of network connectivity and data center services for a large-scale, multi-tenant technology environment.

Your main focus will be the management and maintenance of (W)LAN infrastructure. You will also support the execution of IT infrastructure projects, automation initiatives, and continuous service improvements.

This is a hands-on, operations-focused role with long-term involvement in keeping systems running smoothly, implementing change, and improving processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities:
