Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong Go/Python and Kubernetes engineering experience, production ready.

Responsibilities

• Build the network control plane: design providers and controllers to translate intent into device config.
• Own Cisco control path: extend microservices for IOS-XE/NX-OS over NETCONF.
• Shape the intent model with YAML specifications used by engineers.
• Develop pre-change validation and post-change verification for safe automation.
• Ensure auditable changes with diffs and rollback paths.
• Improve developer experience with local validation and testing.
• Migrate real networks onto the platform with minimal disruption.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and operational dashboards for platform health.
• Extend to self-healing and closed-loop operations with drift detection.
• Coordinate delivery with regional teams and external partners.
• Apply AI thoughtfully to enhance quality, speed, and reliability.
