Job summary

Nebul is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to design, implement, and automate the network backbone of its sovereign private cloud. You will build SDN solutions, automate configurations, and ensure high availability, security, and scalable AI workloads across data centers and hybrid environments.

You will work with OpenStack Neutron, Python, Ansible, and Terraform, improve provisioning systems, monitor performance, and collaborate with security teams to enforce segmentation and encryption.

Qualifications

• OpenStack Neutron/networking expertise.
• SDN knowledge with OpenStack Neutron, routing, switching, and L2/L3 protocols.
• Hands-on automation with Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Linux networking, VPNs, VXLAN, BGP, and cloud firewalls.
• Understanding of network security, segmentation, and compliance.
• Troubleshooting distributed systems and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage SDN within OpenStack environments (Neutron).
• Automate network configuration, monitoring, and management using Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Ensure secure and efficient connectivity across data centers, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Develop provisioning systems, APIs, and templates for self-service deployment.
• Monitor network performance and capacity; implement observability and alerting.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce segmentation, encryption, and access policies.
• Troubleshoot complex, real-time network issues.
• Contribute to high-availability and fault-tolerant architecture design.
• Document processes and share knowledge across teams.
• Stay current with SDN, NFV, and cloud-native trends in OpenStack.
