Job summary

Dorpsportaal Schoonebeek is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to perform VT, MT, and PT inspections on BHA tools and premium connections. You will document results, report non-conformances, and assist with calibrating measurement tools.

The role requires reading engineering drawings and following API/DS-1/NS-2 procedures, with a focus on quality, safety, and meticulous record-keeping. The candidate should operate independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on NDT experience in manufacturing, fabrication or oilfield services.
• NDT Level II certifications in two or more methods strongly preferred (MT, PT).
• Strong knowledge of API specifications, DS-1, NS-2 thread inspection and related oil & gas standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and inspection gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a strong team player.
• Computer literate (MS Office; experience with quality/inspection software is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual thread inspection (VT), magnetic particle (MT), and liquid penetrant (PT).
• Inspect and evaluate BHA tools and premium connections per API, DS-1 and NS-2 procedures.
• Accurately document inspection results, complete reports and report non-conformances.
• Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Verify materials meet required quality standards before release or shipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment and promote safety.
