Job summary

Handelsbanken in Amsterdam is looking for an MS SQL Data Warehouse Developer to join our local IT team of five. You will bridge business needs and IT solutions, bringing new features to life in the data warehouse and keeping it running smoothly, including upgrades.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless data and reporting across the bank. The role requires a IT degree (Bachelor's or Master’s), 5+ years of DWH experience, expertise in MS SQL Server, Kimball modeling, SSIS/SSRS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data warehouse development.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of MS SQL Server and BI tools.
• Experience with Kimball data modeling and SSIS/SSRS.
• Proficient in T-SQL, PowerShell, and C#.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.

MS SQL Data Warehouse Developer- Amsterdam

Handelsbanken is growing fast so we are continuously looking for new professionals who would like to join us in developing the bank further. For our local IT department, we are looking for an engaged MS SQL Data Warehouse developer in the field of (financial) Data & Reporting. With us, you will work in a team that develops and manages the bank's local data warehouse for the Dutch home market. As a data warehouse developer at Handelsbanken, you contribute to valuable insights through working with data and reporting. Together with the team, we provide useful information for the bank's operations including our branch network. We also deliver data to regulators located both in the Netherlands and Sweden.

Your role:

• You will be the bridge between business needs and IT solutions through collecting requirements and translating (business) demands into a suitable IT solution.
• You will bring new features to life in our existing data warehouse and keep it running smoothly (incl. technical upgrades).
• Collaboration is key at Handelsbanken! You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration.
• You will participate actively in daily scrums, refinement, review, and planning sessions, where your input could shape the direction of our projects.
• You will be keen to continuously develop yourself.

Our offer:

• A salary of minimum €3.809 and a maximum of €6.502 gross per month, based on a 40-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience,
• A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. You can choose to have this paid out per month.
• 30 days holiday per year (based on a 40-hour working week) and the option to buy or sell additional holiday days.

Your profile:

• You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work in the Netherlands, as we do notoffer visa sponsorship
• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, and 5+ years of professional experience in DWH development.
• Experience with the financial industry is a big plus.
• Strong hands-on mentality, intrinsically motivated, independent and goal-oriented. You enjoy making things work!
