Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Reparatiemonteur Liften to repair and replace lift components on-site across various buildings. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults, collaborate with colleagues on larger repairs, and plan your daily tasks efficiently while ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes customer communication, clear reporting of installation status, and recommending preventive maintenance measures to ensure reliable elevator operation.

Qualifications

• Technically trained or technically inclined.
• Social and customer-oriented attitude.
• Holder of a valid driving licence B.
• Willing to work independently and take responsibility.
• Safety is essential to you.
• You have good command of Dutch (language).
• Experience in lift technology is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust components such as hoist ropes, motors and drives, control systems, safety components; diagnose and fix issues on-site.
• Analyze technical problems on-location and resolve complex mechanical/electrical faults; provide clear recommendations for further work.
• Interact with customers: explain conditions of installations and planned work, propose improvements or preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with a colleague on larger repairs and plan your own tasks efficiently while working independently where possible.

Ben jij een technicus die energie krijgt van het oplossen van complexe storingen en het uitvoeren van technische reparaties? Werk je graag zelfstandig, maar ook in samenwerking met een collega wanneer de klus daarom vraagt? Dan zoeken wij jou!

Als Reparatiemonteur Liften zorg jij ervoor dat onze klanten kunnen rekenen op veilige, betrouwbare en perfect werkende installaties. Jouw werkzaamheden dragen direct bij aan de continuïteit van liften in wooncomplexen, kantoren, ziekenhuizen en andere gebouwen door de provincies Zuid-Holland, Zeeland en een stukje Noord-Brabant.

Wat ga je doen?

In deze veelzijdige en afwisselende rol ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het repareren en vervangen van liftonderdelen. Je werkdag bestaat onder andere uit:

• Vervangen en afstellen van onderdelen zoals:
• Hijskabels
• Motoren en aandrijvingen
• Besturingssystemen
• Detectielijsten en sensoren
• Veiligheidscomponenten

Diagnose stellen en storingen verhelpen

• Analyseren van technische problemen op locatie
• Oplossen van (complexe) storingen aan zowel mechanische als elektrotechnische onderdelen
• Indien een directe oplossing niet mogelijk is: het opstellen van een duidelijk advies voor vervolgwerkzaamheden

Contact met klanten

• Je informeert klanten duidelijk over de staat van hun installatie
• Je legt uit welke werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd en waarom
• Je denkt mee over mogelijke verbeteringen of preventief onderhoud

Samenwerken & zelfstandig werken

• Je werkt regelmatig samen met een collega-monteur bij grotere reparaties
• Je plant je eigen werkzaamheden efficiënt en werkt zelfstandig wanneer dat mogelijk is
