Job summary

CleverEnable is seeking a Mobile Network Architect/Engineer to drive innovation in our rapidly growing platform. You will design and optimize core mobile networks, onboard MVNO customers, and evaluate new technologies, working across teams and with customers to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with core network components, plus strong Dutch and English communication. A dynamic environment with growth and development opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in telecom, IT, or electrical engineering.
• Solid knowledge of mobile networks: MNO, MVNO, MVNE, 2G/3G/4G/5G, VoLTE, and eSIM.
• Familiarity with SIM cards, IMSI/IMEI, devices, or network services (voice, SMS, data).
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark, Arkime, or similar analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (additional languages are a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize mobile core network systems (HLR/HSS, GGSN/PGW, SMSc, IMS, SBC, DRA, STP).
• Onboard and configure new MVNO customers and networks.
• Test, implement, and evaluate new technologies.
• Analyze and troubleshoot network issues using tools like Wireshark and SIMTrace2/PCOM.
• Build technical solutions in collaboration with customers, partners, and your team.
• Work with mobile network protocols such as Diameter, SIP, C7/SS7, MAP, and APDU.

Our ideal candidate

• A technical degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) in telecom, IT, or electrical engineering
