Job summary

McCarthy & Stone in the UK is seeking Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistants to join our care team in Leek and surrounding areas. A valid full UK driving license and access to your own car are essential, with travel between developments and mileage paid.

You’ll provide domestic services and social support, helping with cleaning, laundry, shopping, companionship, and wellbeing activities. The role is mobile and rota-based, up to 30 hours per week, with shifts including mornings, evenings and

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have previous experience in a domestic or housekeeping role.
• You must have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your time effectively.
• Willingness to travel between developments and work a rota including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Domestic duties: cleaning communal areas and homeowners' apartments, laundry and shopping.
• Social support: assisting with activities, transport, appointments and wellbeing.
• Support for individual homeowners: personal care and medication assistance if required.
