Job summary

IMC B.V. is seeking a Machine Learning intern to tackle real-world trading problems over 10–12 weeks. You'll design experiments, build models, and evaluate approaches under mentorship, with exposure to quantitative trading across global markets.

The program includes classroom and on‑desk training, professional development and networking, and a competitive compensation package including travel and accommodation.

Qualifications

• PhD or in-progress PhD in a quantitative field such as ML, CS, EE, math, statistics, physics.
• Strong foundations in ML, probability and statistics; experience applying ML to research problems.
• Hands-on research experience in deep learning, neural networks, or sequence modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
• Publications in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and apply original ML algorithms with support to innovate.
• Analyze large-scale datasets, build predictive models, evaluate approaches.
• Advance research skills through project work, mentorship, feedback.
• Enhance understanding of quantitative trading via classroom topics and market knowledge.
