ASML’s Leveling department in Eindhoven invites a master’s student to work on data-driven analysis of machine event logs to understand and classify failure modes. The project blends AI/ML with data mining to derive actionable insights for reliability and diagnostics; 6+ months, 5 days a week with 3 days on-site.

You will collaborate with engineers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in AI, ML, and data-driven decision-making within the semiconductor industry.

Formación

• Pursuing a master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, AI, ML, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Experience with Python and machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of data analysis, classification methods, feature engineering and model evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop methods to analyze machine event logs and identify patterns related to machine failures.
• Design and evaluate supervised and unsupervised classification models.
• Validate findings with historical data and expert feedback.
• Present results and recommendations to engineers and researchers.
• Investigate similarities and differences in failure patterns across machines.
