Job summary

Modernspace in Halfweg is seeking a hands-on Microsoft 365 Engineer to own and drive modern workplace, identity, security, and device‑management projects across Europe, US and Asia. You will prioritize initiatives delivering business value and work in a fast-growing manufacturing scale‑up.

You’ll manage Entra ID, Intune, Defender XDR and Purview, implement Zero Trust and support ISO 27001 governance while collaborating with a global team on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience managing Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
• Experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP, labels, retention)
• Hybrid Active Directory environments experience
• Strong PowerShell and automation skills
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 controls and documentation
• Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR

Responsibilities

Your role - what you will do

• Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity lifecycle.
• Support hybrid identity (Active Directory + Entra ID).
• Implement Zero Trust principles across identity and access.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Manage MDM/MAM policies, compliance rules, Autopilot, and secure device onboarding.
• Standardize and automate device deployment and configuration.

Security & Compliance

• Work with Microsoft Defender XDR (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps) to improve threat protection.
• Support ISO 27001 processes through documentation, controls, and technical implementation.
• Contribute to data governance using Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention).
• Support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related M365 services.
• Troubleshoot issues across the M365 ecosystem and ensure a stable, secure environment.
• Use PowerShell and Graph API to automate tasks and enforce governance.
• Create clear technical documentation, runbooks, and end‑user guides.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM).
• Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM, Autopilot, compliance).
• Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention).
• Hybrid Active Directory environments.
• Experience contributing to ISO 27001 processes (documentation, controls, technical implementation).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, devices, and cloud services.
• Experience with PowerShell and automation.
• Ability to create clear technical and end‑user documentation.
