Job description

Merchandise Planner

As a Planner at Suitsupply, you'll be ensuring the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demands. You'll dive into sales data, forecasting future trends, and crafting strategies to optimize inventory levels while balancing sales and profitability. Collaborating closely with various teams, you'll contribute in shaping our global business and influence our rapid growth. In this role you'll be partnering with Merchandising, Production, Allocation teams.

What you'll do:

  • Create and maintain merchandise plans for assigned product categories to meet financial goals (sales, margin, and inventory turnover).
  • Conduct analyses of sales trends, historical data, and market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with the merchandise team to align on product assortment strategies and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Drive monthly OTB process, reforecasting sales based on recent trends and stock development.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Assist in budget development and track performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with various teams to align merchandise plans with business goals.
  • Continuously seek commercial opportunities and flag risks proactively.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field.
  • 3-5 years of merchandise planning and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
