Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking a skilled mobile developer to lead the creation of brand new applications using React Native. You will collaborate with a team to estimate work, shape architecture, and define the project structure while embracing our ways of working and proposing improvements.

You will apply your knowledge of React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, and native mobile exposure (Kotlin/Swift) to deliver accessible, production-ready apps with CI/CD pipelines and robust testing.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional React Native experience with hands‑on projects.
• At least 6 years total development in JS/TS, React or native mobile (Kotlin/Swift).
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Together with your team, you build a variety of brand new mobile applications.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional experience with React Native, including hands-on project work
• At least 6 years of general development experience (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), frontend React, React Native, and/or native mobile with Kotlin/Swift)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Commitment to building apps with strong accessibility support (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.)
• Experienced in Unit and E2E testing (we use XCTest, Jest, Maestro)
• Hands‑on experience bringing mobile to production with CI/CD
• Experience working with native modules and APIs and integrating them into React Native projects
• Ability to define app architecture design
