In this position, you are responsible for different aspects of Trade Accounting and will work in a dynamic, international, and challenging environment. You will be in contact with our core business regarding the financial results for the commodities you oversee.
Our Business Control team is part of our Accounting department within Viterra B.V. and comprises 9 colleagues. The team is supportive, motivated, ambitious, and works collaboratively in an informal setting.
Your role in our network
- Prepare Trade Balance Sheets and Trade P&L for various commodities;
- Compile global results of the Viterra group per commodity and analyze outcomes with accountants from multiple offices;
- Manage mark-to-market valuations of commodities, derivatives, and freight positions;
- Reconcile inventory and derivatives positions with third-party statements;
- Participate in the audit process of Viterra B.V.;
- Follow up on ad-hoc business requests and IT projects to enhance accounting and reporting efficiency.

Who are we looking for?
- A master’s degree in (Financial) Economics or a related field;
- 1-3 years experience in an audit firm, preferably Big 4;
- IT literate, with extensive knowledge of MS Office and SAP preferred;
- Practical, proactive, with good communication skills and a no-nonsense attitude;
- Accurate with strong analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Curious, eager to learn about the company’s business;
- Residing in the Netherlands to be eligible;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
