Job summary

DNV Product Assurance AS is seeking an Internal Clinician to assess clinical data supporting the safety and performance of medical devices under MDR. You will engage in certification activities, evaluate clinical evaluations, and prepare reports for high-risk devices, working with customers to clarify requirements and timelines.

The role requires a Medical Doctor with clinical experience and strong English communication skills, in a challenging environment at a leading Notified Body for medical

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with license to practice.
• At least 2 years' experience including direct patient care and clinical research.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve Certification Proposals for medical devices under MDR.
• Assess clinical data and prepare reports of clinical aspects under MDR.
• Plan and execute the assessment of clinical evaluation within agreed timescales and budget.
• Evaluate and validate the summary of safety and clinical performance reports for high-risk devices.
• Review and approve clinical evaluation reports for MDR compliance.
• Communicate requirements and status to customers.
