Job summary

DNV Product Assurance AS is seeking an Integrated Clinician to assess clinical data supporting the safety and performance of medical devices. The role involves MDR conformity assessment, evaluating clinical documentation, and communicating with customers. A Medical Doctor with clinical experience and strong English is required.

The position is part of the Life Sciences unit and offers a permanent contract with hybrid working options across locations including Arnhem, NL, among others.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in evaluating clinical data or trials.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve certification proposals for MDR medical devices.
• Assess and report clinical aspects of technical documentation as per MDR.
• Plan and execute clinical evaluation assessments within timelines and budget.
• Evaluate safety and clinical performance reports for high-risk devices.
• Review clinical evaluation reports for accuracy and MDR compliance.
• Communicate requirements and status with customers on clinically relevant aspects.
• Perform competence reviews of clinicians and resources.
