Job summary

IAI Industrial Systems is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design, implement and validate mechatronic subsystems with emphasis on electrical design, motion control and PLC-based machine control.

You will work in multidisciplinary project teams, translating specifications into functional control concepts, and ensuring safety and performance meet customer needs, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience in machine building or mechatronic systems.
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R).
• Experience with motion control and electrical design tools (EPLAN).

Responsibilities

• Translate specifications into functional designs and control concepts (PLC, motion, safety).
• Design and document electrical systems including schematics and I/O structures.
• Develop, test and maintain PLC-based control software.
• Implement and optimize motion control solutions.
• Test and validate systems against functional and safety requirements.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues and machine failures.
• Support Assembly, Testing, Service and Project Engineering teams.
• Work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Contribute to system architecture and concept development.
• Participate in integration and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Support standardization and continuous improvements.
• Interface with suppliers and stakeholders.
