Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Development Consultant to join our engineering team as a consultant, delivering robust mechatronic system designs and production-ready solutions. You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams to transform concepts into realizable hardware.

The role requires a hands-on engineer with a systems mindset, strong CAD skills with Creo Parametric or similar, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical product development.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and PLM systems for document management.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level system concepts into detailed mechanical designs.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOM documentation.
• Support design, integration, and testing of mechatronic systems.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, and systems teams for seamless integration.
• Contribute to DFMEA and test planning; support design reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation in PLM systems (Windchill, cPLM).
• Interface with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with design controls and safety standards.
