Rainmaker Holland is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Rotterdam to join a small R&D team focused on the Water-to-Water system. You will design and realize projects, create SolidWorks drawings, contact suppliers and prototype, assemble, test, and iterate the machines.
You should have HBO level mechanical engineering, be fluent in Dutch and English, and thrive in a hands-on workshop environment with varied daily challenges.
At Rainmaker Holland we are looking for a Mechanical engineer to expand our team.
Rainmaker’s research and development department currently operates in a small team. As a mechanical engineer in this team you’ll be responsible for both of our projects, although your main focus will be the ‘Water-to-Water’ system.
Involved from design to realization and everything in between.
This means making drawings and designs in Solidworks, contact suppliers for the right components, work on prototypes and assemble, test and adjust the machines itself.
No day is the same!
The machines itself contain all sorts of techniques and equipment like; energy generating, heat exchangers, (heat) pumps, valves, membranes and much more. You will also be engineering the steel frame and help with the software controls.
It is a full-time vacancy (32/40 hours a week) in Rotterdam.
The engineer we’re looking for has a passion for technology and likes to spend as much time in the workshop as behind his desk. You have to be broadly interested in all different kinds of techniques and be able to adapt to different kinds of situations easily.
Want to be part of our purpose?
