Job summary

Daelmans is seeking a maintenance and breakdown technician to join our Oss team. You will maintain, repair and overhaul production lines and packing machines, focusing on mechanical and electrical faults.

You will record activities in our system and ensure accurate administration. You will consult with operators, coach them on the job, and participate in improvement teams to reduce losses and drive reliable production.

Qualifications

Job description

As a maintenance and breakdown technician, you will work together with four fellow technicians, the head of Technical Services and a number of external employees who still support us today. You maintain, repair and overhaul the production lines and packing machines. You will fix mechanical and electrical failures, with about three-quarters being mechanical. You record the work performed in our system and ensure correct administration.
Do you pick up signals of a common malfunction? Then you do some research and think about possible improvements. You consult with the operators and coach them on the job. Does a machine need to be converted? Or is a new functionality of a machine being tried out? Then you put your shoulders to the wheel! You will be part of improvement teams and contribute ideas to reduce losses and put a smile on the face of your colleagues.

Job Requirements

1. Safety and quality are your top priority.
2. You have an MBO education, for example in the direction of electrical, mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
3. Do you already have a few years of work experience in a similar position, and knowledge of TPM or WCM? That's a plus for us.
4. You are willing to work in 3-5 shifts.
5. You are stress resistant. If there is a malfunction during production, you don't panic.
6. You think in terms of solutions, have a positive attitude and you know how to keep calm. You show initiative and are a team player.

Employment Conditions

• A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €4,300 per month, on top of that you get a shift allowance of 28.75% for working in 5 shifts.
