NXP Semiconductors in Eindhoven is seeking a Master’s student to develop an AI-Agent that leverages internal device exploration tools to compare performance, area, power, and process options.

You will gain exposure to device optimization, design-space exploration, and transistor-level decision support within a global, multicultural team. Proficiency in Python and ML libraries, Linux, and clear communication in English are essential; Git/Jira experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a Master’s degree in Electronics or Artificial Intelligence (or related fields).
• Proficient with Python language development and experience with ML libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, pyQT).
• Strong analytical, problem solving mindset and willingness to explore complex engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate results clearly.
• Linux environment (all our development tools are running on this platform).
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop an AI-Agent that will use an internal device exploration and characterization tool to evaluate trade-offs between performance, mismatch, area, power, and technology options.
• Learn about device optimization, process and design-space exploration, operating condition checks to support transistor-level design decisions.
• Help establish, together with the NXP team, efficient, best-in-class methodologies that support NXP design centers worldwide.
• Work in a multicultural, global environment alongside NXP design organizations across the world.

Your Profile

• Enrolled in a Master’s degree in Electronics or Artificial Intelligence (or related fields).
• Proficient with Python language development and experience with ML libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, pyQT).
