Job summary

ASML's IT & Data department invites you to join the COCKPIT program as a master's intern. You will support the implementation and continuous improvement of an integrated IT control framework, collaborating with IT, risk, assurance, and cyber security teams to translate risks into controls and demonstrate compliance.

This internship offers hands-on experience in IT auditing, cyber security controls, risk management, and reporting within a global high‑tech environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree in IT, info security, cyber security, risk management or related field.
• Interest in IT audit, assurance, cyber security, IT controls, risk management or compliance.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Collaborative and proactive, able to work in a team.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, SOx or NIS2 is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, risk, assurance and cyber security teams across the organization.
• Support analysis, documentation and implementation of IT and cyber security controls.
• Assist with control testing, evidence collection and control assessments.
• Analyze control gaps and recurring issues to propose improvements.
• Map risks, policies, standards and regulatory requirements to measurable controls.
• Contribute to reporting and dashboards for insight and decision-making.
• Explore opportunities to simplify, improve or automate controls and monitoring.
